Stainless Steel 418 Sheets and Plates generally consist of 12–14% chromium, 0.15% carbon, ≤1% manganese, ≤1% silicon, along with trace amounts of phosphorus and sulfur. They deliver a tensile strength of around 620 MPa, a yield strength of 450 MPa, an elongation of 18–20%, and a Brinell hardness ranging from 200 to 250 HB. SS 418 is known for its excellent wear resistance, high hardness post-heat treatment, and moderate corrosion resistance in mild environments.
