Stainless Steel 253MA Sheets and Plates are composed of about 22% chromium, 12% nickel, 0.7% molybdenum, 0.3% nitrogen, and 0.15% carbon, along with trace amounts of manganese and silicon. They feature a tensile strength of roughly 700 MPa, a yield strength of 290 MPa, an elongation of 30%, and a Brinell hardness of around 215 HB. This alloy’s makeup guarantees excellent creep and oxidation resistance up to 1100°C, along with impressive mechanical stability at high temperatures.
