Our Stainless Steel 440C Sheets and Plates are made up of high carbon (0.95–1.20%) and chromium (16–18%), along with trace amounts of molybdenum, manganese, and silicon. This unique blend results in outstanding wear resistance, hardness, and mechanical strength. They boast a tensile strength ranging from 760 to 1000 MPa, yield strength between 450 and 500 MPa, and can achieve hardness levels of up to 58 HRC after heat treatment. These sheets and plates offer a perfect mix of excellent abrasion resistance and durability, making them ideal for components that face mechanical stress and moderately corrosive conditions.
