Stainless Steel 201 Pipes consist of 16–18% chromium, 3.5–5.5% nickel, 5.5–7.5% manganese, and a maximum of 0.15% carbon. The lower nickel content makes SS 201 a more economical choice, while the increased manganese helps maintain its austenitic structure. These pipes deliver a tensile strength of about 520–780 MPa and are non-magnetic when annealed, though they can become slightly magnetic after cold working.
