Stainless Steel 440B Bolts are mainly made up of carbon (0.75–0.95%) and chromium (16–18%), along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and molybdenum. This unique blend gives them impressive strength, hardness, and enhanced corrosion resistance compared to 440C, while still offering excellent wear resistance. These bolts achieve a tensile strength ranging from 700–800 MPa, a yield strength of about 400–450 MPa, and can reach hardness levels of up to 55 HRC after heat treatment. The alloy also maintains toughness, providing reliable resistance to mechanical stress in moderately corrosive environments.
