The AWS Class E347T1-1/T1-4 Flux Core Wire is composed of chromium (19–21%), nickel (9–11%), and niobium (8–10 × C content), along with carefully controlled carbon levels. The addition of niobium significantly boosts resistance to intergranular corrosion compared to non-stabilized grades. Typically, the weld metal delivers a tensile strength of 550–650 MPa, a yield strength of 300–350 MPa, and an elongation of about 30%. These wires are known for their excellent toughness, creep resistance, and outstanding corrosion resistance, all while ensuring smooth and consistent weld deposits even in challenging conditions.
