Stainless Steel 405 Stud Bolts are mainly made up of iron and chromium (11.5–14.5%), along with small amounts of aluminum (to manage grain growth), carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and silicon. This type of ferritic stainless steel provides moderate resistance to corrosion and outstanding oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. It boasts a tensile strength of about 380–550 MPa and a yield strength of roughly 205 MPa, along with good ductility and machinability.
