Stainless Steel 347H Flanges are a high-carbon variant of grade 347 with specific compositions meant for better strength at high temperatures. The alloy consists of iron, 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and stabilized with columbium (niobium) and tantalum to prevent carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion. Resisting temperatures of up to 900°C (1652°F), these flanges have tensile strength of 515–700 MPa, yield strength of approximately 205 MPa, and elongation of 40–50%. They possess good resistance to oxidation and structural stability that makes them perfect for severe, high-stress, and corrosive industrial applications.
