In terms of mechanical properties, it features a tensile strength ranging from 550 to 620 MPa, a yield strength of about 300 to 350 MPa, and an elongation of 30 to 35%. AWS Class ER317L is primarily used for welding austenitic stainless steels such as 317 and 317L. Offering excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation and pitting in a variety of environments.
