The low carbon content helps prevent intergranular corrosion, while the higher silicon content aids in deoxidation, resulting in smooth and clean welds. In terms of mechanical properties, it boasts a tensile strength of about 550–650 MPa, a yield strength of around 350 MPa, and an elongation of 30–35%. The weld deposits exhibit remarkable resistance to oxidation, scaling, and corrosion across a variety of service conditions.
