Khaleed Stainless is a well-respected manufacturer and supplier of Alloy 309LMo SAW and Flux based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They specialize in providing top-notch welding consumables that are perfect for joining dissimilar and corrosion-resistant stainless steels. This particular alloy is crafted for submerged arc welding (SAW) applications, where it’s crucial to have enhanced corrosion resistance and toughness. Thanks to the addition of molybdenum, Alloy 309LMo SAW and Flux boasts impressive resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and high-temperature oxidation. It guarantees stable arc performance, a smooth bead appearance, and minimal spatter, making it an excellent choice for industries like chemical processing, power generation, and marine applications.
Alloy 309LMo SAW and Flux generally consists of chromium (23–25%), nickel (12–14%), and molybdenum (2–3%), along with carefully controlled carbon levels to enhance weld metal integrity. This alloy delivers a tensile strength of around 550–650 MPa, a yield strength of about 300–350 MPa, and an elongation of 30–35%. It’s known for its outstanding toughness, creep resistance, and exceptional corrosion protection, particularly against chlorides and acidic environments. Its well-balanced composition ensures that welds maintain their mechanical stability even under high-temperature service and corrosive conditions.
